We both live with conditions that make regulating our body temperature difficult. Overheating and sweating are a familiar part of our lives, and the discomfort can follow us into moments we want to enjoy.

We know what it’s like to arrive at an event already feeling hot, damp and uncomfortable. Before the evening has even begun, you’re conscious of your clothes, wondering whether the sweat shows and struggling to feel at ease. It takes some of the pleasure out of simply being there.

We grew tired of that feeling. We wanted everyday clothing we would love to wear, with more thought given to the experience of feeling too warm. That frustration became the starting point for AERUNE.

Starting with the way you move.

We’re starting with everyday trousers, then exploring the underwear and camisoles worn closest to the body. We’re listening before we finalise fabric, fit, rise, pockets and construction, with comfort at the heart of the decisions we make.

We’re still at the beginning, developing ideas and listening before we finalise our first samples. Our own experience gives us a reason to start. Hearing yours will help us understand what these pieces need to become.

Comfort has no gender.

Bodies come in different shapes, and comfort feels different for everyone. AERUNE welcomes people of every gender. We’re exploring different cuts and fits so you can choose what feels right for your body.

AERUNE began with something we both live with. Our hope is to make everyday dressing feel a little more comfortable, considered and confident for others, too.
